He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wogen and Anna Wogen (Talle); his grandson Scott Anthony Midlang; and his brother Jon Wogen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Wogen of Lake Mills; his son Allan Wogen (Rhonda) of Lake Mills; his grandsons, Scott Wogen and Shane Wogen; his daughter Teresa Midlang (Tim) of Lake Mills; his grandchildren, Alicia Midlang, Bradley Midlang and Christina Midlang; his son Brian Wogen (Jeanne) of Sheffield, IA; his grandchildren, Markus Wogen (Kat), Erika Wogen and Lukas Wogen; his daughter Joni Wogen (Kurt Winter) of Mason City, IA; his grandchildren, Joe Winter and Anna Wogen; his great grandchild Mateo Wogen; and his sister-in-law Jan Wogen of Olivia, MN.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
