He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Norris and Edna Norris (Bisgaard); his brother Keith; and also, Merle, Justin, Hazel Zitterich and Lois Zitterich.

He is survived by: his wife Marietta Zitterich of Lake Mills; his children, Barbara Renee, Rodney Ivan, William Fredrich (Bill), Barb Abele (Brian) of Leland, Rod Norris (Shellene) of Lake Mills and Bill Norris (Sheila) of Huxley; his grandchildren, Allison Greenfield (Bob) of Lake Mills, Sarah Kuennen (Nick) of Pella, Anthony Norris (Devan Register) of Lakewood, Colorado, Ashlyn Morse (Jerry) of Storm Lake, Joshua Norris of Des Moines and Jessica Norris of Huxley; his great grandchildren, Kenlie, Gage Greenfield, Brynn, Carew, Elle Kuennen and Everleigh Norris; his sister-in-law Jan Meyer (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Karyn Leininger (Troy), Kim Venzon (Jay), Kyle Norris (Amee) and Kirt Norris (Mandy); and also, Jeralda Arcularius and Eldon Zitterich.
