She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Harang and Alpha Harang (Sanden); and her brother Donnie Harang. She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Halvorson of Northwood, IA and Rachel Bowman (Richard) of Lake Mills, IA; her granddaughters, Rylee Bowman of Clemson, SC, Robyn Bowman of Iowa City, IA and Rori Bowman of Iowa City, IA; her brother Arlyn Harang (Bev) of Camano Island, WA; and her brother-in-law Wayne Halvorson of Mankato, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (Formerly Lake Mills Synod Evangelical Church) (107 N 1st Ave E, Lake Mills, IA 50450). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Somber Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
