He was predeceased by: his parents, S. T. Okland and Christina Okland; his former wife June Perkins; his daughter Barb Rosa; his son-in-law Dave Waters; his stepson Cordell Shifflett; and his great grandchild Matthew Fox.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Okland (Schmidt); his daughters, Kristine Nelson (Les Bond), Sandy Recor (Hank), Renee Ross (Fred), Kim Norman (Robert) and Laurie Waters; and his stepchildren, Craig Shifflett (Kari), Scott Shifflett Brian (Vicky) and Heather Albrecht (Steven). He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
