She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon John and Verbelle Beryl Gilpin (Riley); her husband Willard "Willie" Fenske; and her siblings, Paul and Cora Marie.

She is survived by: her daughter Angel; her son-in-law David Meyer of Emmons, MN; her brother Clarence Gilpin (Ruth) of Belmond, IA; and her sister-in-law Caroline Pelzel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
