He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Sprecher and Phyllis Sprecher (Heltne); his in-laws, Telford and Geneva Brekke; his brother Wayne Sprecher; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Sprecher, Bob Ross and Paul Brekke.
He is survived by: his wife Delores "Lorie" Sprecher of Cleveland, MN; his sons, Randy Sprecher (Michelle) of Cleveland, MN, Mark Sprecher (Doris) of Scarville, IA, Steve Sprecher (Sue) of Scarville, IA and Mike Sprecher (Beth) of Scarville, IA; his grandchildren, Jessica Sprecher-Derrick (Joseph) and Lane Sprecher; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Ziegler (Meredith), Matthew Leuwerke (Leah), Andrew Leuwerke, Kristin Beeler (Aaron), Taylan Virchow (Ashley), Matt Fjelstad and Andrew Fjelstad; his sisters, Carolyn Jean Ross of Conger, MN and Rosemary Brackey (Jim) of Thompson, IA; and his sister-in-law Arlene Sprecher of Lake Mills. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (401 S Lake St, Lake Mills, IA 50450). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Salem Memorial Cemetery (700 N Lake St, Lake Mills, IA 50450).
