He is survived by: his sons, Scott Erling (Susan Grotewold) and Brad Erling (Jeanie Grotewold); his wife Doris Marie Falck Grotewold; his daughters, Jane Grotewold Christianson of Lake Mills and Joan Grotewold of Rochester, MN.; his grandchildren, Donald Sampson Grotewold II (Sam), Kari Smith (Brandon), Ben Grotewold (Jacki Marchisio), Jessica Schipper (Rusty), Kelsey Williams (Eric), Jaci Haugsdal (Michael), Cole Christianson (Lake Mills), Anna Bierly (Tim), Blake Grotewold (Murphy), Abby Ashbacher (Jordan) and Rachel Grace (Andrew Schaeppi); his great grandchildren, Cash Grotewold, Myah, Maysen, Mylie Smith, Elina Grotewold, Sawyer, Tate, Schipper, Rooney, Finch Williams, Audrey, Issa Haugsdal, Carson, Quinn Christianson and Max Bierly; his sisters, Yvonne Johnson of Goodyear, AZ, Marjorie Tardiff and Ramona Twito (Lake Mills); and his sister-in-law Gladys Shultz (Spirit). He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and a number of in-laws, significant others, cousins and other extended family, friends.
