We are sad to announce that on March 11, 2021, at the age of 92, Donald F. Wirt (Lake Mills, Iowa), born in Lake Benton, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Wirt and Helen Wirt (Watson); his wife Irma Johanna Marie Bruchmann; his siblings, Nathelle Petersen, Curtis and Daryl; and his siblings-in-law, Fred Bruchmann, Larry Petersen, Richard Bryan, Don Petersen, Larry Miller, James Spoerl, Mike Gannon, Colleen Wirt, Lilian Wirt and Wilma Bruchmann.

He is survived by: his children, Charles, Richard (Kathy), John, James (Kathleen), Robert (Deb) and Christine Pratt (John); his grandchildren, Sara, Charles, Kathie, Tony, Jena, Jara, Max, Tim, Tamara, Ben, Randie, Joe, Dan and Cara; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Parker, Landon, Logan, Danika, Claire, Paige, Kaia, Silje, Penelope, Joey, Mason, Connor, Alex, Ellie, Kirby, Aaliyah, Rowen and Hazel; his siblings, Richard (Mary) and Marjorie Bryan (John); his sisters-in-law, Elfriede Petersen, Elisabeth Seibert, Joy Gannon and Donna Wirt; and his niece Willie Skellenger (Alan).

Memorial donations may be made to the Salem Cemetery Fund in Don's honor.
