He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Holstad and Matilda Holstad (Moen); his wife Ardith Joann Weibye; and his sisters, Mildred Holstad and Maxine.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Holstad (Kristi) of Albertville, MN and Laura Carman (Wes) of Cincinnati, OH; his grandchildren, Jeremy Jacobson (Brooke) of Albert Lea, MN, Robyn Holmberg (Nate) of Albertville, MN, Maren Holstad of Minneapolis, MN, Thor Holstad of Plymouth, MN and Wesley Carman of Ft. Thomas, KY; and his niece Sharon Hill (Joe) of Des Moines, IA.
The use of a face covering and social distancing are encouraged.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to the Salem Lutheran Church Building Fund, 401 S. Lake St., Lake Mills, IA 50450.
