Cyrus Ellsworth Olson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cyrus Ellsworth Olson (Lake Mills, Iowa), born in Gibbon, Minnesota, who passed away on October 29, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Olson and Hulda Olson (Swenson); his wife Vivian Helgeland; and his siblings, Clarence Olson, LeNore Anderson and Gordon Olson.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Aune (Eric) and Curtis Olson (Val Hovland) of Albert Lea, MN; his grandchildren, Jaron Aune (Liz) of Waconia, MN, Jennifer Miller (Joe) of Lester Prairie, MN and Kirsten Radford (Nolan) of Cologne, MN; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Bjorn Aune, Kinsley, Greta, Grace Miller, Alison Duenow (Nic), Keira and Owen Radford; his great great grandchild Maverick; and his sister-in-law Joan Olson of Chatfield, MN. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces and friends.
Due to COVID-19, a private family service will be held with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post #56 and VFW Post #447 of Albert Lea.
Memorials will be given to the Lake Mills Care Center Entertainment Fund.
