She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carl Oscar and Clara Aamodt (Peterson); her husband DeVere Steffensen; her daughters, Lou Ann Mikes (Richard) of Indian Trail, Patricia Nelson of Northwood, Julie Foster (Leigh) of Boone and Rebecca Hill (Larry) of Thompson; her daughter-in-law Karen Steffensen of Goshen, Indiana.; her children, Nancy and DeRay Steffensen; her sons-in-law, Curtis Nelson and David Monson; her grandchildren, Michael Nelson and Sally Steffensen; and her siblings, Orian, Carroll and Virgean Hogan. She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
