It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles W. Troe (Lake Mills, Iowa), born in Emmons, Minnesota, who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Troe and Cora Troe; his wife Lorna Mae Gavle; and his brother Dale. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Wirt (Richard), Julie Yost (Don), Sandy Lee (Alan Wittmer) and Audrey Peterson (Terry); his grandchildren, Tony Wirt (Erin), Kelly Hickman (Mark), Devin Yost (Paige), Brett Peterson (Kristen), Charlie Peterson (Christie), Lauren Lien (Mike) and Dani Ulrich (Zach); his great grandchildren, Paige Wirt, Arthur, Gus Hickman, Mabel Yost, Mara, Joseph, Eddie Peterson, Charlotte and Claire Peterson; his friend Pam Stead; his brother Ron Troe (Carol); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Nagel.
