He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Tenold and Carma Tenold (Reinsmoen); his son Tim Tenold; his great grandchild Nola Pederson; his brother Gary Tenold (Dee); and his brother-in-law Lyle Goll.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Tenold of Lake Mills; his children, Cindy Pederson (Gary) of Lake Mills and Paul Tenold (Terri) of Lake Mills; his grandchildren, Ben Pederson (Brooke) of Lake Mills, Ashley Dennhardt (Joel) of Iowa City, Megan Dietzel (Dan) of Iowa City and Brittni Molstead (Jordan) of Charles City; his sons, Andrew Tenold (Katelyn) of Joice, Alex Tenold of Joice and Jake Tenold of Dallas Center, IA; his great grandchildren, Lila, Willa, Leo, Luca Pederson, Sam, Jack Dennhardt, Temperance Dietzel, Jaeda, Kobie and Tate Molstead; his grandchildren, Coen and Cora Tenold; and his sister Gloria Goll of Klemme, IA.
