He is survived by: his wife Agnes Wiederin of Lake City, IA; his children, Judy McDaniel (David) of Boone, IA, Joseph Wiederin (Georgia) of Lake City, IA, Becky Daniel (Dave) of Lake City, IA, Monica Wuebker (Joel) of Rockwell City, IA, Harold Wiederin (Christine) of Lake City, IA, Loran Wiederin (Kathy) of Jefferson, IA and Ranee Sackfield (Ryan) of Lohrville, IA; and his siblings, Iola Hoogestrat of Carroll, IA, Loraine Danner of Carroll, IA and Ralph Wiederin (Helen) of Carroll, IA. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Lampe & Powers Funeral Home - Lake City (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Lampe and Powers Funeral Home (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Lampe & Powers Funeral Home - Lake City (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A Mass was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 7:30 PM at the St. Mary's Cemetery - Lake City (1760 N 37th Rd, Lake City, IA 51449).
