He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Sloan and Jonathan Edwin; his wife Carol Jean; his grandchildren, Katie, Grace, Kendra, Abby, John Thomas and Jacob; his step-sons, Rick (Denise) and Scott (Joanie); his siblings, Lois (Tim) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Patricia of Fort Collins, Colorado, Jim of Wyoming, Iowa, and Doug (Valerie) of Coralville, Iowa; his sister-in-law Jade of Wyoming, Iowa. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left for Stewart Memorial Community Hospital or Opportunity Living.
