It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Delores Goins of Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Green and Ruth Green (Eveleth); her husband Duane M. Goins; and her siblings, Robert, Donald, John, Boyd, Virginia and Betty.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Goins (Karen) of Yetter, IA and Jane Johnson (Nick) of Yetter, IA; her grandchildren, Brent Goins (Brianne) of Carroll, IA, Scott Goins (Jadi) of Dubuque, IA, Alisha Batz of Lake City, IA, Leon Johnson (Brooke) of Ankeny, IA and Bethany Stauter (Steve) of Lake City, IA; her sister Marjorie Hargis; and her siblings-in-law, MaryAnn Savage of Lake City, IA and Craig Voorde. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
