It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kimberly Kay Anderson of Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Harold (Hap), Mildred Bean (Millie), Frank and Mary Hamilton; her in-laws, Ronald (Andy) and Ida Anderson (LaVon); and her nephew Braden Hicks.
She is survived by: her parents, Daryl Bean and Dorothy Bean of Lake City, IA; her husband Ricke Anderson of Lake City, IA; her children, Brittanie Steig (Jamison) of Lake City, IA, Dallas Anderson (Ashley) of Lohrville, IA, Abigail Purdie (Marlyn) of Sac City, IA, Andrea Plagman (Adam) of Lake City, IA and Heather Anderson (Wade) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Payton, Sayer, Bryan, Halas Steig, Brooklynn, Trevynn, Trinity, Brady Anderson, Bailey, Cody Kent (Desiree), Gavin, Erika Plagman, Mason and Caden Eivins; her siblings, Kevin Bean (Joanne) of Lake City, IA and Kayla Riesberg (Todd) of Dawson, IA; and her sister-in-law Ronna McNeil (Mike). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lampe & Powers Funeral Home (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Woodlawn Christian Church (200 N Woodlawn Ave, Lake City, IA 51449).
