He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence "Shorty" and Billie Ewing (Walker); his siblings, David Ewing and Kathy Ewing; and his brother-in-law Les Becke.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Becke and Carol Boger (Richard) of Ankeny; and his nieces and nephews, Larry Becke, Rob Becke (Patti), Bob Boger (Jean), Traci Boger and Kyra Heithoff.
