It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul O'Mara of Lake City, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul O'Mara and Myra O'Mara (Gobeli); his wife Amelia Tyler of Mary's Catholic Church; and his brothers, John and Robert.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Beverly Hollenbeck of Rockwell City, IA; his grandchildren, Renee Hagan of Rockwell City, IA, Sandy Dole of Spencer, IA and Alan Moulds of Bad Axe, MI; his sister Mary Janecek (Justin) of Fremont; and his nephews, Randy O'Mara, John O'Mara, Paul O'Mara, Robert O'Mara, Tom O'Mara, Larry Janecek and Lonnie Janecek. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
