He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his children, Janna Amendt (Bruce) of Urbandale, IA., Randall of Pawleys Island, SC and Brenda Hucka (Dan) of Ankeny, IA.; his grandchild Danae Branson (Ben) of Alexandria, MN.; his children, Montana Hoeper (Adam) of Alexandria, MN, Cody Branson (Camryn Hoffarth) of Denver, CO, Boone Branson and Breanne Marpe (Lucas) of Gilbert, IA; his grandsons, Paul and Cole; his children, Ben Hucka (Heather) of Nora Springs, IA, Autumn, Avery, Jennifer Eickman (Joe) of Wichita, KS, Kathryn Schneider (John) of Manning, IA, Henry, Leonard, Tom Kokias-Hight (P. J.) of Norwalk, CT and Ashley Hight (Tim Richer) of New York, NY; and his sister Darie Heck of Littleton, CO.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lampe and Powers Funeral Home (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Lake City Union Church (206 W Main St, Lake City, IA 51449).
