She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Terry and Bernice Terry (Pierce); her siblings, Daryl and Deborah; her son Jeffery; her grandson Trevor; her siblings-in-law, Larry, Eddie, Bill, Plato, Frank, Arnetta and Betty; and her parents-in-law, Ellet and Stella Gorden.
She is survived by: her husband Jesse Gorden of Lake City, IA; her children, Scott Gorden (Rhonda) of Lake City, IA and Kim Shugar (Jeff) of Sergeant Bluff, IA; her grandchildren, Amanda (Paul), Amber (Jeremy), Amy (Eric), Megan (Keith), Jobi (Haley), Caleb, Jessica (Tyson), Zach, Ashley (Mark), Brandon, Jacob (Tinesha), Marc and Nicholas; her siblings, Kathryn Schamel (Dan) of Carroll, IA, Irene Dory, Loren Hansen (Cathy) of Wall Lake, IA, Shirley Danial (Steve) of Lidderdale, IA and Vickie Onken (Rick) of Carroll, IA; and her sister-in-law Sue Terry of Early. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Woodlawn Christian Church (200 N Woodlawn Ave, Lake City, IA 51449). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Lake City Cemetery (1760 N 37th Rd, Lake City, IA 51449).
