He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Ray Drees; and his grandparents, Leona Daisy, Don and Jean Gemberling. He is survived by: his wife Barb of Lake City; his sons, Justin of Ames, Clayton of Lake City and Wyatt of Lake City; his parents, John and Patti of Lake City; his brother Clint (Amanda); his nieces and nephews, Bailie, Jacob and Elliot of Caro, MI.; his mother-in-law Mary Jane Drees; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Snyder (Kenny), Becky Lohff, Cindy Drees and Tim Drees.
