He is survived by: his children, Alyson Schroeder (Rich) of Churdan, IA, Chris Happe (Dave) of Ames, IA and Jocelyn Ord (Kevin) of Farmington, MO; his grandchildren, Kimberly Manint (Jerry) of Bel Air, MD, Nathan Schroeder (Crystal) of Gretna, NE, Ben Schroeder (Bailey) of Glidden, IA, Jeff Happe of Ames, Holly Grootveld (Eric) of Bellevue, ID, Kelsey Greene (Micah) of Des Moines, IA, Audra Kingery (Nate) of Ste. Genevieve, MO, Genna Souffle (Anthony) of Minneapolis, MN and Moriah Hix (Kyle) of Rolla, MO; and his great grandchildren, Justin, Ethan, Ella Happe, Bridger, Tinley, Sawyer, Katrien, Colter, Gideon Grootveld, Adalia Greene, Kara, Khloe Schroeder, Brody, Kayson, Avery Schroeder, Judah, Elijah, Amelia Kingery and Elaine Hix.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lampe & Powers Funeral Home (418 N Hancock St, Lake City, IA 51449). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church - Lanesboro (202 3rd St, Lake City, IA 51451). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Lanesboro Cemetery.
