Margaret Grier Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Grier of Ladora, Iowa, born in Belle Plaine, Iowa, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otho F. England and Margaret A. England (Burnett). She is survived by: her spouse Laverne Bowden Grier; her sons, Timothy Laverne, Joel and Ted (Lois); her granddaughter Jessica (Nick Marino); her great grandchildren, Dexter and Ever (Chicago); her son Jameson (Ashley) of Wellington; her grandchildren, Scout, Sawyer and Sailor; her son Jordan of Pella; her grandchildren, Avery, Eisley and Evan; and also, Brad (Liz) of Norwalk, Braden, Maya, Bret (Alyssa) of Prairie City, Kenna and Jase. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.

Also preceding Joyce in death was her oldest son Timothy Laverne in June of 2023, after a 12-year bout with Parkinson's disease.
