He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Burnett and Madeline L. Burnett (Pray); and his brothers, Danny Burnett and Ronnie Burnett. He is survived by: his wife Roberta J. "Bobbie" Dittmer; his children, Brandon Burnett (Anne Marie), Shaun Burnett, Kristin McClure (Rusty), Allison Harms (Tim) and Russell Burnett; his grandchildren, Duncan, Emma, Elise Burnett, Samuel, Tyler McClure, Katelin, Jaxon Harms, Brooklyn and Siarra Burnett; and his sisters, Linda Cain, Jan Davis and Joyce Pardock. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lacona or the Lacona Fire Department.
