It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Tickle (Lacona, Iowa), born in Pleasantville, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Tickle and Virginia Terrell-Cox; his parents-in-law, Walt and Mary Guffey; his sister Patricia Eagen; and his son David.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his daughter Brandi Tickle; his grandchildren, Samantha Wright, Shakayla Uheling, Bree and O'Leary; his siblings, Paul Tickle (Kathy), Dennis Tickle (Pat) and Willa Heaberlin (Don); his brothers-in-law, Vern Eagen and Kenny Guffey; and his children, Lana Kauzlarich (John), Kelly Taylor (Les) and Amy Johannes (Travis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Melcher-Dallas on Wednesday, October 25, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. Memorials in honor of Fitch may be made to the Melcher-Dallas American Legion Post 632.
