He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Smith and Vena Smith (Phillips); and his siblings, Joe Smith Jr., Robert Smith, Gerald Smith, Ray Smith and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his daughter Vena Smith (Skyler Bendixen); his adoptive son Kyle Tully; and his grandson Nathan Gall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
