It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clemmie Leo Hoch of Lacona, Iowa, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clemmie Leo Hoch to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Hoch and Agnes Hoch (Schneider); his wife Leona Kay Bumbarger; his granddaughter Connie; and his siblings, Walter Hoch, Julia Snyder, Lillian Thill, Evelyn Rodgers, Marvin Hoch, Kenneth "Peanut" Hoch and Dean Hoch.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Hoch, Clifford Hoch (Kathy), Barbara Dickerson (William), Debra Payton and Jean Hoch; and his siblings, Luella Nicholson, Gene Hoch, Carolyn Wallace and Marilyn Orey (Vane). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Pierschbacher Funeral Homes - Lacona (104 S Washington Ave, Lacona, IA 50139). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Bauer Cemetery (2212 20th Pl, Lacona, IA 50139).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Melcher-Dallas or Lacona Fire Departments, or Kiya Koda Humane Society in Indianola, Iowa.
