She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Allison and Virginia Stafford Allison; her husband Roger Batchelder; her stepfather Marshall Platt; her children, Joanna Batchelder and Mark Batchelder; and her sisters, Nancy Luhmann and Karen Howard.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Formanek (Larry) of Ankeny, Penny Clark, Jim Batchelder (Jackie) and Matt Batchelder of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Ryan (Doug), Michelle, Stephanie, Xavier, Joshua, Jacob (Rachel), Stevie, Tanner, Tyler and Cassie; and her sister Becky Chappelle (Jack) of Albuquerque, NM..

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (501 Sycamore St, La Porte City, IA 50651). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
