She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Eastman and Bernice Frye Eastman; her former husband Daniel George Stevens; her husband John Lavin; her children, Arlen Lavin and Rebecca Barnes; her grandson Jeremiah Jefferson; her sister Drucilla "Betty" Widmann; and her sons-in-law, Randall Jefferson and Jim Bradley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rosemary Jefferson of Waterloo, Mary Ann Lavin of Waterloo, Angela Lavin of Waterloo and Jeanne Bradley of Bellevue, WA; and her grandchildren, Patrice Ferris, Eric Barnes, Leon Barnes, Malaika Barnes Araujo, Freddie Jefferson, Ezell Jefferson, Shavett Jefferson, Nakia Jefferson, Nicholas Lavin, DeShaun Thomas, Alexa Lavin, Amber Graham-Allen, Erica Bradley-Pacheco, Andrew Bradley and Lauren Bradley. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
