It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin W. Brecher of La Porte City, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Urbin Brecher and Cleo Brecher (Stahnke); his sister Joyce Glynn; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Brecher. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Lundberg; his son David; his brother Ronald of Crystal River, Fla.; his grandsons, Chris (Breanna) and Collin (Alli); and his great grandchildren, Tyler and Alayna. He is also survived by three nephews.
