The passing of Marilyn Lee of La Porte City, Iowa leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 88. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewald Klunder and Minnie Lindeman Klunder; her grandson Brandon T. Lee; and her brother-in-law Myron Bartlett. She is survived by: her husband James R. Lee; her children, Randall Lee (Debra) of Cedar Falls, Brian Lee (Erin) of Montezuma and Cheryl McLaughlin (Scott) of Vinton; and her siblings, Allyn Klunder (Lori) of Nevada and Joan Bartlett of Clarksville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the American Lutheran Church (801 Monroe St, La Porte City, IA 50651). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family, where a memorial fund will be established.
