He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Nichols and Lorena Nichols (Runyan); his wife Bonnie L. Krantz; and his sister Virginia Dunkelberger (Loren). He is survived by: his children, John Nichols (Cynthia) of Fairfax, IA, Tom Nichols (Lori) of Anamosa, IA and Kathy Lee (Jim) of Ankeny, IA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Promise. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Promise-Buckingham.
