It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland E. Jesse (La Porte City, Iowa), who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward William Jesse and Amanda Elizabeth Jesse (Benorden); his wife Betty Lorraine Reimer; and his siblings, Raymond Jesse, Virden Jesse, Melvin Jesse, Russell Jesse, Edward Jesse, Florence McDonald, Wilma Marshall and Winona Fehl.
He is survived by: his children, Brad, Brian Jesse (Chris), Barry Jesse and Traci Stevens (Felix) of Ashland, VA; his grandchildren, Mark, Eric (Shawna), Sara, Gabriel, Zachary and Jonah; his siblings, Willard Jesse (Lois) and Margaret Brust (Richard) of Monmouth, OR; and his sister-in-law Donna Maas-Klug of Blairstown, IA..
Memorials may be directed to the family to be divided between The Black Hawk County Alzheimer's Association and The Jubilee Zion Lutheran Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
