It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee M. Jewett of La Porte City, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jewett and Mable Hocken Jewett; his siblings, LaVerne Anstey, Dean Chesmore, Merle Chesmore and Betty Keller; and his son-in-law Scott La Crosse.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Gordon (Kathy) of Blair, NE, Brian (Cheryl) of Manchester, Leann Johnson (Scott) of Fort Worth, TX, Sherri Field (David) of Elmhurst, IL and Kimberly La Crosse of Loudon, NH; and his siblings, Harvey Chesmore (Nedra) of Quasqueton, Robert Jewett (Joan) of Dunkin Lake, SC and Sandra Hines (Bob) of Salem, MO.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
