He is survived by: his brothers, James Sammons (Brenda) of Muscatine, Thomas Sammons (Nancy) and Jeffery Sammons of Washburn; his half-sister Karla Hoffman of Arizona; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Sammons (Rachel), Steven Sammons, Keith Sammons, Chad Sammons, Erica Flickinger (Garrett), Melissa Lake (Joe) and Jordan Gaffney (Tonya).
