He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stahnke and Addie Stahnke (Ballheim); and his sister Elaine Becker. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Machacek; his daughters, Karmen Church (Bryan) of Grimes and Kenda of Waterloo; and his granddaughter Kelsey Miner (Zachary) of Pennsylvania.
