He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Steffen and Ruth Johnson Steffen; and his father-in-law Glen Jeffries. He is survived by: his wife Sherry "Jeannie" Jeffries; his sons, Brett Steffen (Ely) and Kale Steffen (Stacy) of Parrish, FL; his grandchildren, Cameron, Kaden, Chase and Ella Steffen; and his sister Diane Gushanas (Bob) of Illinios.
