He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cornelius William and Clara Engelkes (Smit); his wife Betty Schmucker of LaPorte City; his children, Susan Levine of Lawrenceville, GA, Joe Engelkes (Rosie) of Cedar Falls, Pat Wood (Bob) of LaPorte City and Chuck Engelkes of LaPorte City; his siblings, Anna Mae Schnucker, Harold, John and Carroll "Jimmy" Engelkes; and his son-in-law Eric Levine. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in Wilbur's name to your local Lions Club.
