Nichols (La Porte City, Iowa), born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 31, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Krantz and Esther Krantz (Sackett); and her siblings, Mary Sawyer (Don), Nancy Lichty (Gary) and Donald Krantz.

She is survived by: her husband Leland; her children, John Nichols (Cynthia) of Fairfax, IA, Tom Nichols (Lori) of Anamosa, IA and Kathy Lee (Jim) of Ankeny, IA; and her sister Patricia Dickey (Marty) of Waterloo. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

“A wonderful Christian lady , my fond memories of her was Good News Club . Being dropped off at the Nichols` house, after school. The flannel graph , the songs . memory verses and food of course, I still have my bible I won for memorizing verses. It made such an impact on me that as a small child I prayed for the Nichols family almost everyday and still do. God Bless the Nichols` family. David Clark and family.”
