With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Daverne Lambirth (Knoxville, Iowa), who passed away on February 21, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lambirth and Virginia Lambirth of Rural Bussey, IA.; and his sister-in-law Diane Lambirth of Attica. He is survived by: his wife Carol "VandenBrink" Lambirth of Knoxville Iowa; his son Todd Lambirth of Lucas, IA; his daughter-in-law Kari "Ellis" Lambirth; his grandchildren, Shae Whisler (Justin) of Des Moines and Karli Farrell (Chris); his great grandchild Luke of Lucas, IA.; his daughter Melissa "Lambirth" Ashton of Solon, IA; his son-in-law Ned Ashton; and his grandchildren, Matthew Ashton of Champaign, IL and Alexis Ashton of Solon.
