He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine. He is survived by: his children, Leslie VanderLinden (Brad) and Jeff Brewster (Candi); his grandchildren, Ian Martinache (Mallory), Katelyn Brewster and Ben Brewster; his great grandchildren, Olen, Noah and Lillian; and his sisters, Marguarite Lofton and Vera York.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the Marion County Humane Society.
