It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Owen McMillan of Knoxville, Iowa, born in Harper, Iowa, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edmond and Cora Kate McMillan (Fixmer); and his siblings, Albert, Ben, Kenneth, Lydia Heath and Charlie.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Moore; his daughters, Lori Raymie (Mark) and Cindy Rasmussen (Gary); his grandchildren, Stephanie Sabin (Jeremy), Emily Dabb (Mike), Nathan Raymie (Alexandra), Ellen Barnes (Kyle), Tyler Raymie (Kayla), Owen Rasmussen (Haley) and Travis Rasmussen (Kali); and his pet Fritz II. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Public Library or to the Marion County Humane Society.
