With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Dean Hughes (Knoxville, Iowa), born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on July 16, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dale Hughes. He is survived by: his son Ron; his mother Betty; and his brothers, Keith Hughes (Denise), John Hughes (Lisa Lee), Tim Hughes (Kris) and Dave Hughes (Jenny). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.
