He is survived by: his wife Susan Evans of Knoxville; his children, Robin Nichol (Jon Thul) of Newell, IA and Bobby Evans of Newton, IA; his grandchildren, Amy Hammen (Shane), Nikki Page (David), Tyler VanZante-Evans (Shayla), Kirsten Fry (Jake) and Victoria Evans (Christopher Rogahn); his great grandchildren, Madison, McKenzie, Aiden and Isaac Hammen; his grandchildren, Lillian Page, Brinley Fry, Gracie, Baylor Fry and Emersyn Rogahn; his nieces, Terri, Kim, Angie, Teresa and Sherrie; his nephew Chuck, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Evans and Bill Schlotterback (Jeanie); and his special hunting buddy Jake Schlotterback.
Memorials may be made in Robert's memory to the Marion County Humane Society or to Susan Evans.
