She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Wright and Grace Wright (Garrett); her husband Roger DeYoung; and her siblings, Laura Mae Hoover, Dora Stanley, Betty Hejda and Dale Wright.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shirley Nance (Vernie "Bud") of Knoxville and Carol Taylor (Shawn) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Shawn Nance (Alicia), Aaron Nance (Kristin) and Jill Gomez; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Caleb, Brooke, Kyziah, Cesilya, Ira, Grace, Natalia and Sasha.
