He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Karr and Helen Karr of Knoxville. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Jo Core; his wife Betty Jo Karr; his children, Becky Kern (Gary), Lori Karr, Brett Karr, Mishelle Karr-Rutledge, Steve Zimmerman (Diane), Rusty Zimmerman (Brenda), Marty Zimmerman (Rhonda), Angela Schaffer (Rod) and Andy Zimmerman; and his siblings, Jim Karr (Jane) and Kay West (Mick).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Paul's memory to your favorite charity.
