She was predeceased by: her parents, George Scherger and Magdalina Scherger; her husband Donald Garrett; her son Richard (Cara); and her siblings, Ben, John and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, Don (Delia), Bill Garrett (Karen) and Cara Watts; her daughter-in-law Nancy Garrett; and her niece Marijo Anderson. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
