It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myles Michael Murphy of Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Michael and Hazel Gertrude Murphy (Harkin). He is survived by: his sons, Mike and Mark; his wife Mary Jane Murphy; his daughter Molly Murphy; his grandson Ben Grieshaber; his daughter Kate Murphy; his grandson Matt Murphy-Stull (Mallary Wadle); his daughter Colleen Sattler (John); his grandchildren, Ellen, Claire and Mike Murphy (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Maddi, Colby Cheney and Mark Murphy (Christina); his sister Mary Judith Wadle; and also, Nick, Alex, Josh and Zach Murphy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Myles' memory to Everystep Hospice of Knoxville or the Knoxville Township Fire Department.
