He is survived by: his siblings, Tony Brown (Tammi) of Milo and Melissa Brown of Oskaloosa; his brother-in-law Bryan Brees of Oskaloosa; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Brown (Allison), Josh Brees, Paige Davis (Trent), Abby Brees, Madison Brown, Hunter VanHaalen (Cassie), Scout VanHaalen, Easton VanHaalen, Kelsee VanHaalen, Gauge VanHaalen and Kylee VanHaalen-Brown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Monte's memory to his family.
